reduce, reuse, recycle

Pixels Billboard Contest 2019

The items represented in Reduce, Reuse, Recycle were results of found human trash on the road. With this concept, I wanted to reduce the trash that was outside, reuse the items to send a message, and then recycle them after this project.

The three words used are intertwined with the items to show that these can be reduced, reused, and recycled. The colors were directly pulled from items in this collage to unite all of the elements, as well as having meaning. Blue was selected to represent the sky and pollution in the air and water on Earth, orange was used to represent a new life for items, creativity, encouragement, and change. Green was picked to represent the growth and potential of our planet.
